Christopher Tucker spotted these protestors in Asheville, North Carolina, a location he says he frequents often. When he asked the man in the center of the photo why the flag was upside down, the man told him it was a sign of distress. “I gathered that they were not too happy with the [Democratic National Committee’s] ‘election rigging’ because they were still using Bernie Sanders pins and signs, even though he had dropped out of the race,” Tucker said.
